quotes1The first year, just keep your pineapple growing. When you take the pot outside the second spring, cut an apple in half, and put one piece of the apple into the center of the pineapple plant. Let it lay there for a week or so. This causes the pineapple to produce an "egg", and insects pollinate it, and in a month or so, you will see a little pineapple coming out of the center of the plant. quote2
