I have had Cannas for years. Several years ago I traded Canna seeds for something I had. They multiply so I always share with friends and family. When the Cannas came up and bloomed almost all of them were red. I've never had that happen before. What would make that happen? Does anyone have some seeds to share? I had peach, coral, orange, pink, yellow with red speckles, yellow. I would even be glad to buy the seeds. |

What would make that happen? Just a thought on that pushmower, would be that the red cannas were the only seeds to germinate.(If sown together mixed) Or had been mis-labled for identification upon purchase.(It happens) If you have specific seeds of choice colors, try germinating them inside in containers before placing them outdoors.

It does happen. I had the standard yellow and wanted some red and orange. They all turned yellow. I don't think it pays to mix them together. Now, all I have is the yellow and they are everywhere or it seems like it. |
