Can somebody please help me!! I bought a "Stairway to Heaven" plant back in August. It did not have any blooms on it, but the foliage was full and promising. I wanted to plant it in a pot once I got home. Well, I started with a medium pot and it just began to wither away. I transfered it to a large pot and it seemed to do very well. It just got to the point of being ready to flower before I had to bring it inside because I thought winter was well upon us. Now, it's December and the weather has been so off and on, it's crazy! Whatever the case, once I brought it inside, it started to wither more and more. I had it in my bathroom and thought maybe that had something to do with its demise; so I brought it into my livingroom. Now, I am lucky to have 10 "ladders" if you will and they are very soft and dying. I have read all kinds of articles that say they are easy to keep plants. Thanks for the confidence boost!! I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I really, really don't want it to die completely. I really loved the look of this plant. Is there anything I can do to ensure this makes it through the winter inside of my home? Please help!!

I'm not saying you can't grow Jacob's Ladder as a houseplant because I'm sure someone out there has probably done so. Personally I've only grown it outside in the ground. It's a perennial and they generally need a dormant period. You would get more responses if you posted this in the flowers forum.
