A mixed bag
My favorite color all year round is yellow. I love pinks and purples with my yellow daffodils in the spring. I love pinks and reds with my yellow daisies and black-eyed Susans in the summer, and I love yellow mums and pansies in the fall. In the vegetable garden, I love yellow tomatoes and yellow squash.

Double dip
My favorite color combination in the garden is purple and green. The two colors are an amazing contrast.

A little extra
I love purple and yellow with splashes of red. I also like the different shades and textures of foliage, and always keep that in mind when selecting my flowers each spring.

Patriotic patch
My favorite are red, white, and blue petunias and pansies in a beautiful patriotic garden. I think
since September 11, 2001, Americans really realize what an important and special place we live in.

Multiseason affair
My favorite color combination is red with white.
We start with red and white tulips in the spring, then have early lilies and dianthus, mixed with a little yellow. Summer and fall include phlox, carnations, coneflowers, and mums. We do have other colors splashed in, but these seem to be most noticed by guests.

Three's company
I love the combination of purple coneflower,
yellow coreopsis, and white alliums. They're easy to grow, and they all self seed and are great cut flowers.

I am new to gardening. But oh so many kinds of flowers,I love them all. I have Morning Glories all along my fence in the back yard.I Have 4 O'Clocks,Iris,Tulips,Dafadils planted in my flowerbed close to the house. In my flower bed in front of the house I have also Tulips,Dafadils,Mums,Pansies,
African Daisies,Petunas,Marigolds,Colibines,Gardinas. I also planted Cosmos by are Mailbox. This is my 2nd year having a vegtable garden too! I am just having a blast learning & watching things grow ! It is very exciti! Food taste so much better when freash. Everybody have fun growing!!!!

I also love gardening! I have done flowers for many years, but for the last couple years, I have found the fun of doing a vegetable garden! In starting my seeds for the fall garden and we don't have a good place to start indoors, I started them in tiny peat pots on a tray - closed them up in a plastic bag on a counter out of the hot Calif. sun and kept watching them. They did wonderful and I was able to keep them going by introducing them to a little sun as they grew. Makes things exciting!

O the joy of gardening...I just started gardening about 3 yrs ago as well. I love it. Its good for stress control. I live in west tn zone 6-7 i forgot to place my tulip bulbs in oct. does anyone know if it is too late now in mid dec. to plant them?
