In our May/June 2009 issue, we announced the American Garden Awards—a program in which you can visit certain public gardens and vote for your favorite plants. According to the American Garden Awards Web site, here are the plants you can vote on:

This is more of a question: I just heard of the downy mildew disease that is affecting impatiens. My question is: would the flowering form of Vinca be a good substitute?
