Congratulations to the winners of the seventh annual National Home Gardening Club photo contest! We received thousands of member entries this year, and we had so much fun considering each one. Thank you for sending such beautiful, captivating, and unique photos. As always, it was difficult to select only 12 winners. The photos that appear here have all the qualities we were looking for: technical precision, creative perspective, and intriguing subject matter. —The staff of Gardening How-To

Congrats to the winners- However, a side note...... wild bunnies have a 4% chance of survival, and when humans get involved and touch, move, or help them, it drops to 2% (I use to work with wildlife rehaber's so I'm just passing along what we were told).

Just something I wanted to share- take it for whatever it's worth and with a grain of salt :)

All the pictures were great and I have no favorite one. Good job to all the members who entered the contest!! I took classes in photography and learned that the art in the picture is what you see...you are the artist. Saturday, January 16, 2011. Life member: Marie Kreinbrink in Saginaw, MI.

What, no Canadian winners?? I've been gardening since '71. I think it's time I entered some pictures of the beauty in our yard!

I am honored that my photo won a honorable mention. And thank you to all that have complimented all the photo's. The judges must have a hard time making a choice. All the pictures are great.
