Made from Wisconsin-grown long-fibered sphagnum moss, NoDampOff Seed Starting Medium achieves a faster germination rate and slows the growth of “damping off” disease, which kills small seedlings. Sphagnum moss also improves seed germination because of its water retention and sterility. It doesn’t contain any dirt or peat, which can contain bacteria that kill small seedlings. Money-back guarantee if in-date seeds do not germinate. Mosser Lee Co., 715-284-2296, www.mosserlee.com |

The first time I tested this product I wasn't too impressed. But the next few times I used it I had much better results. I have tried to locate this product within 100 miles of where I live in Southern IL, but no one carries it. They have other Mosser Lee products, just not this one. I can find it in a gardening catalog but the quantity available is so large that I wouldn't be able to use that amount in 10 years. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase this product in the smaller bags? My e-mail is mary.osterhout@yahoo.com. Any help is appreciated!
