The Universal Squirrel Stopper Baffle makes it virtually impossible for critters to access bird feeders. It uses an inverted cone shape with spring-torsion technology, so the entire unit moves up and down while simultaneously moving side to side. The UV- and impact-resistant baffle includes a mounting ring and hardware to fit ½-inch to 2-inch diameter round or square poles. JAKA Holdings Inc., 616-723-0433, www.squirrelstopper.net |

JOHN METCALFE, WASSAIC, NY
“The Universal Squirrel Stopper Baffle has a nice appearance, and the side to side and up and down movement of the baffle makes it impossible for squirrels to reach the bird feeder.” |

JANET DWIER, MEDFORD, NJ
“I live in a wooded area with many squirrels, and it was just what I needed to keep pesky squirrels from becoming unwanted diners at my feeders. It was great watching squirrels trying to climb up the pole.” |

Sign me up for testing, if that's still available. I have some smart little buggars that I'd love to redirect away from my bird feeders.

I would also love to try this product. We have chipmunks storing for the winter from our birdfeeders!

I also would love to try this product. I have tried everything to keep these little critters off my bird feeders. Crisco w/pepper, etc. It got hard after a while and actually left little hairs behind. The food still disappears really fast.

I also would love to try this product. I have a multitude of squirrels and cannot seem to feed my birds because of them.

It seems everyone wants to test this product (me being one of them), but I would really like to see more reviews. I am preparing to build a large bird feeding station in my side lot and I am looking for squirrel stoppers (toooo expensive to keep them fed).

I have been battling squirrels for many years, and I have found nothing that works to keep them from the bird food. The vaseline on the pole works well in the summer, but is useless in winter, the time the birds really need the food.

try a slinky, and spred it out. some tell me here in florida they have had very good luck with that. also 2lt pop bottles with a small hole in the bottom it just goes on the stand and the little darlings just spin around. good luck

I can't afford the baffles! However what I did was put up 2 - 10' (2-1/2" diam.) pvc poles 10' apart. Hung a slinky down over each one and then hung a conduit pipe from pole to pole. Before connecting the pipe to the second pole, I cut up a 1/2" pvc pole and strung those onto the conduit pipe. (The only things I purchased were the 2 slinky's, everything else I already had.) I hung my feeders and watched for a while. The squirrels tried to climb the poles but never made it. The slinky's worked like a charm! If they do make it past the slinky's they'll have a very hard time trying to walk across the "rolling" 1/2' pieces of pvc as they'll spin right off before getting to the feeders! I know it sounds like a lot of work but it really wasn't. It's also very attractive looking as I painted the outer poles and hung planters on the outside of each one. Finally outsmarted the little "darlings"!!

I went to the local home depot/lowes ater watching a show on TV. I bought two 2 foot straight stove pipes, put them around the base of the pird feeder and the squirrels have not figured out how to bypass them!! It costs $20 for both pieces of pipe. Simple and easy!!!

for the price I can buy 3-4 regular baffles, they work for me. and keep feeders abt 10' away from a jumping point for squirrels.
